Men in make-up

Found these pictures from Trend Paradise (Thanks!) and it just caught my eyes. I like the idea men wearing make-up and what more if it of the chinese opera kind! Well yes, in real life, in fact they are all men on stage. But what is nice is the are not asian and this can me like some of the ugly mannequins that you find in some low cost museums all dressed-up as asians! This very example can also be seem in one of Karls' short film, below:

I find this video very entertaining. I have seen a similar movie based on the first scene of this video. Can someone tell me which movie is that? I knw it has to do with some rich woman and they got stopped by the officer and the Chinese Lady had to had sex with one of them in order to be released. Oh, there's also a hero to rescue! Damn!!! I cant think of which movie is that!!!!

Bergdorf Goodman's window will have million-and-one details that you can stare and stare and stare at it forever!! The amount of details they have put in for their holiday window is just breath-taking. Semms like they treat every loops and coner of the window without wasting a single space! Under the theme 'Compendium of Curiosity' you get Alice in winter-wonder-land.

Paper Chanel Ornaments

No old fashion christmas trees, baubles or tinkles. Chanel is getting there mannequins to me the 'tree'. Mannequns are adorned with headgear made out of paper the resembles Chanel's signature:- Camelia, 2.55, shoes, etc.

If you know that their new much talk about Shanghai flagship store at the Penisular Hotel do not have the same Christmas decor coz the Chinese will throw a fit as paper ornaments are used as an offering to the death! Bad feng shui!

Barbie Is A Freind of Rei Kawakubo

So once you get barbie to dress i your outfit that uses less than a quarter of a meter of fabric and you can sell it for 255pound!!! Well, Yes, being famous is an advantage especially when you are Ms. Kawakubo. So when they first launch in Toyko, it was SOLD OUT a moment later. But no worries if you are staying in London because you can get it from Dover Street, of course they carry most of CDG products but they mght not have plenty of them! If you cant get than 9" doll, you can still get CDG's accessories that is made of the same 'Jingle Flower' print.
